The School of Foreign Languages, serving in its building in the Yenişehir Campus of Harran University, was established with the decision of the Council of Ministers on 23 June 2012/3243 in order to provide foreign language education and training to students at a contemporary level. Students of programs to provide education entirely or 30% in a foreign language, those whose language proficiency is not at the desired level, and those who have just registered to the departments in the university where the language of education and training is completely Turkish, and those who apply to the program optionally to learn a foreign language, can participate in the English Preparatory Programs run by the School of Foreign Languages. The students to apply these programs receive training to improve their language knowledge and skills. Harran University School of Foreign Languages ​​with its young and dynamic academic staff; its English Preparatory Programs, Foreign Language Courses, scientific research projects and Academic Writing and Translation Center, supports both students and academic staff to be active and willing to learn a foreign language.
 
There are 7 different-capacity classrooms, all of which are multimedia supported, 1 multi-purpose hall, which is actively used in meetings and events, 1 language laboratory that supports individual study and learning, and 1 foreign language library in our School of Foreign Languages.

As of the 2021-2022 academic year, our School has a total of 21 teaching staff, including 15 English instructors, 2 German instructors, 1 French instructor, 2 Arabic instructors and 1 Persian instructor.
